The excitement is starting to build for the 5 week Cuban
Salsa workshop series with Duane! The class will be held Wednesdays
from 7-8:30pm at the Phoenix Center with an open practice until 9pm.
This workshop is designed for people who already know how to dance, and
want to learn more about Cuban rhythms and Afro-Cuban body movement as
they apply to dancing Casino and Rueda de Casino. Rueda is the Spanish
word for wheel. Once you sharpen your Casino you will put it to the wheel
and round you go! One person calls out moves to the other dancers and
directs the energy and flow of the wheel.
